Introduction to Lithography
6-week workshop
Each printmaker chooses the stone they will work with for the full duration of the course. we currently have 7 stones.
week 1 Meet the Stone and its Baggage - 10 thumbnails
week 2 Mark Making and Establishing an Image -

week 6 critique
Required Materials: Two Cellulose Sponges (clean and process), greasy drawing material, newsprint,
sugestions for material:
brushes, India ink, sharpie, pepperoni, korns crayons, Tusche, more to come....

Intaglio Exploration,
5-week workshop, 7 participants, $300
you need a pair of nitrile gloves, Tarleton, News Print, Needle, Burnisher, 2 cooper plates less than 17x20inches ,plexie glass,
Three courses are offered every week: a 6-week lithography introduction course, a 5-week Intaglio Exploration, and a rotating 1 to 3-week workshop featuring visiting artist-led sessions.
Membership and Open Studio
Open Studio is $20 an hour
Membership is $150 a month and gives you access to the studio during all open hours Monday 8 am - 6 pm and Saturday 9 am to 5 pm you also get a storage cubbie and half a flat file drawer. There is currently a maximum of ten members at a time.
What you will need.
clothes that can get dirty, closed-toe shoes, drawing reference material, and if taking Intaglio, you need a pair of nitrile gloves.
